National Coffee Milkshake Day

"I'm such a girl, I'm such a girly girl. I'm sippin on my milkshake with this swirly swirl." - Nicki Minaj

It's National Coffee Milkshake Day!

I was contacted by Eight O'Clock Coffee asking me if I wanted to celebrate the day with them. As a coffee lover, how could I say no? They even provided a really sweet recipe to use. Listen, when someone hands you all the necessary components to celebrate a food holiday without you having to lift a finger... girl, you say yes.

- 1 1/2 cups cold Eight O'Clock Coffee Original Blend
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1 banana
- 2 Tbsp chocolate syrup
- Crushed ice

Directions: Combine ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth.

Eight O'Clock Coffee was founded in 1859 as a store brand at The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. The name came from a survey they took - they asked their customers what time of day they drank coffee. Most folks said both 8AM and 8PM. Thus the name of the coffee was born! They remain the number one selling whole bean coffee in the U.S. And starting this fall they'll also be available in K-cups.

Happy National Coffee Milkshake Day!
