National French Toast Day

"I went to a restaurant that serves 'breakfast at any time'. So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance." - Steven Wright

It's National French Toast Day!

Sponsored by: Van's Natural Foods

Today, I've got it easy, because I'm celebrating National French Toast with Van's Natural Foods. They have cinnamon-infused French toast sticks that are all natural and contain no gluten, eggs, or dairy. And dredged through a plate of maple syrup? It's one of the best snacks I've had in a long time (sugar and carbs? BLISS).

Van's Natural Foods has been cooking up waffles for almost a half century. It all started back in the 1970s when the Van Dam family opened a swinging waffle joint in Southern California. By the late 1980s, their groovy little beachside favorite had outgrown itself, and the Van Dam family decided it was time to bring their creations to a whole new group of customers — right in their local grocery stores. And not just some customers, but ALL customers as many of their products are suitable for people with all sorts of dietary restrictions.

So skip the bread, eggs, and milk the next time there's a snow storm (if you're a New Englander, you'll know exactly what I mean), because Van's has you taken care of!

Happy National French Toast Day!
