National Chicken Noodle Soup for the Soul Day

“Only the pure in heart can make a good soup.” - Ludwig van Beethoven

It's National Chicken Noodle Soup for the Soul Day!

Today didn't initially start as a food holiday. It was begun by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, the creators of the once very popular book franchise  Chicken Noodle Soup for the Soul. Today is supposed to be, according to them, a "celebration of who you are, where you’ve been, where you’re going, and who you will be thankful to when you get there!”

However, that book franchise was started by the concept that the food, chicken noodle soup, helped to lift our spirits when sad and heal us when ill. And since there is no other "chicken noodle soup" day... today, as it starts to get colder outside, is the perfect time to enjoy a bowl.

While appreciating who you are, how you got there, and both the peaks and valleys that await you ahead (like your oven catching fire and breaking right as you're about to make some soup)!

Happy National Chicken Noodle Soup For the Soul Day!
